Many Moons Puppet Show and Workshop
Sunday,February 10th
3:00-4:30
Robbins Library Community Room
Based on the classic tale by James Thurber, Many Moons tells the story of the Princess Lenore, who falls ill  and can only get better if somebody brings her the moon. A gentle and funny tale of wisdom, impossible possibilities, and blue poodles. After the show, children can participate in a short puppet-making workshop where they will learn to design, build, and bring to life their own puppets, from initial design sketches to the final stages of construction. Basic puppet-making materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged also to bring their own, to add to the creative possibilities. Attendance to the workshop is limited.  Please arrive 30 minutes early to secure a ticket.

Robbins Library is the main branch of Arlington's library that sits beside the Town Hall, just off of Massachusetts Avenue. The building itself is impressive with wide steps and an ample ramp leading up the side to allow for handicap access. Inside there are marble floors and a desk almost immediately to the right. The library has a community meeting room, DVDs, space for children to play games and computers for public use.
