Please join us next Tuesday, August 14 as Transition House visits The Madrona Tree at 315 Broadway in Arlington Center. The Madrona Tree has generously offered to donate a portion of the proceeds from that day to Transition House - all you have to do is come eat delicious food and portion of your bill will go to helping in the fight to end domestic violence and bring shelter and aid to survivors of domestic violence.  Information about the organization will be on-hand for those who would like to learn more!  So come enjoy some organic and locally-sourced comfort food and homemade sodas and frappes and support Transition House!

The Madrona Tree will be open from 11:30AM to 8PM so come in at any time that day.

Transition House has offered support and care for adults and children overcoming the trauma of family and partner violence for almost 40 years.  They also offer outreach and education services for youth, critical violence prevention initiatives in our community.

The Madrona Tree has served Arlington Center for almost a year, bringing organic and local comfort food- burgers, wraps, sandwiches, and salads- with a creative, Lebanese flair. They use hormone and antibiotic-free beef and chicken, making homemade dishes that you and your family can feel good about eating.  They offer multiple options for children, for vegans and vegetarians, and for anyone who likes good food!  Their motto is "Eat like you give a damn!"
