DESCRIPTION:Come one! Come all! Creative Arts at Park (CAAP) will present
  a free  Arts Festival for the whole family on Friday\, July 27 at the P
 ark School  in Brookline. The day-long Festival will feature the work of
  more than  200 young people in the visual and performing arts from Grea
 ter Boston  communities such as Needham\, Wellesley\, Newton\, West Roxb
 ury\, Jamaica  Plain and more. The festival is the culmination of CAAP&r
 squo\;s five-week  multi-arts program.\nThe festival will open at 9 a.m.
  and feature performances by students  ages 7-15 in dance\, music\, dram
 a\, photography\, gymnastics\, film and  video\, writing\, karate and fe
 ncing as well as many exhibits of their  work in a variety of visual art
 s.\nThe festival will feature three family-friendly shows\, two of them 
 musicals.\n&ldquo\;Norbert Beany is ACTION MAN!&rdquo\; features a rocki
 n' score by Boston's  own Faith Soloway. Meet Norbert Beany\, insecure e
 ighth grader\,  struggling to find his way at Larveigh Junior High. Poor
  Norbert: his  over active imagination conjures up &ldquo\;ACTION MAN!\,
 &rdquo\; the person he&rsquo\;s  always wanted to be. But super heroes a
 ren&rsquo\;t exactly what other kids are  in to (like\, duh!). Norbert m
 eets some unexpected obstacles&mdash\;and makes  some unexpected friends
 &mdash\;on his way to both the prom and a happier self\,  superhero or n
 ot.\nPacked with humor\, hilarity\, and heart\, the show will be present
 ed on  Thursday and Friday evenings\, July 26 and 27\, at 7:30 p.m. &ldq
 uo\;Flying  Colors&rdquo\; will play at 9:30 a.m. on Friday\, July 27. A
 t midday on the  27th\, "The Doctor's Daughters\," an original oneact in
  the commedia  delle'arte style\, will showcase the talents of Boston pl
 aywright and  director Ezra Flam and a multi-talented cast.\nCelebrating
  its 31st summer\, Creative Arts at Park is a multi-arts  program for yo
 ung people. More than 50 professional artists teach  students in more th
 an 100 courses in the visual and performing arts.
