This excit ing\, weeklong summer adventure in creativity immerses children in imagi native play that reinforces and supplements school-year learning in the subjects of science\, technology\, engineering\, and math (STEM). Childr en will work together to seek innovative solutions to real-world problem s and sharpen critical 21st century learning skills such as teamwork and creative problem solving as they rotate through four modules each day t hat disguise learning as fun.\n \;\nThis exciting week of four fun-f illed modules begins on June 25\, when Melanie Konstandakis will direct the Club Invention ENVISION program at Bishop School. In the Inventeurek a&trade\; module\, children will venture on the Ci6000 Space Modulator T ime Machine for a fantasy adventure. Children will build their own inven tions and learn to adapt certain features for various situations. Partic ipants spend their time navigating an island via upcycled ships and lear ning the power of combining magnetism and electricity during the Magnetr opolis&trade\; module. In the I Can Invent: Balloon Burst&trade\; module \, children will design balloon bursting machines\, while learning the i mportance of gears\, motors\, springs\, and magnets. Finally\, in the Ac tion and Adventure Games&trade\; module\, a participant favorite\, child ren will combine physical activity and creativity during fun\, energetic games.
