The John A. Bishop Elementary school is holding the Bishop Community Clean-Up Day on Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the school at 25 Columbia Road.  Parents, alumni, friends, and contractors will clean, spackle, paint and fix-up the school.  The teachers and staff are creating “wish lists” so that members of the community can help improve the school for them, and for the kids.  This event will help build the parent-teacher collaboration, enable working parents to help out at a weekend event, and help teachers accomplish small tasks that will make a big difference to them.
