Register Now! Against the Tide is an annual family-friendly fundraising event to benefit the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC).  MBCC works to reduce toxic chemicals in the environment, which research shows are linked to the dramatic rise in the incidence of breast cancer.  Against the Tide will take place at DCR’s Nickerson State Park on Saturday August 17th, from 7 a.m. until noon.  You can choose from several different activities: a competitive and recreational 1-mile swim, 2-mile kayak, 3-mile walk, 5K run, 10K run and an Aquathlon consisting of a competitive 1-mile swim and your choice of a competitive 5K or 10K run.  Please visitwww.mbcc.org/swim or call 800-649-MBCC for more information and to register.

Nickerson State Park is located in southeastern Massachusetts on the mid-Cape, Brewster. The address is 3488 Main Street, Brewster, MA 02631 

From Boston: take Rte. 3 south to the Sagamore Bridge, then Rte. 6 to exit 12 in Orleans, turn left off the ramp onto Rte. 6A West towards Brewster. Continue for about 2 miles. Park Entrance is on left
