DESCRIPTION:The award willing pianist\, Maria Pikoula will perform music 
 of Brahms\, Liszt\, and Debussy on Sunday\, Feb. 3rd at 3 PM.&nbsp\; The
  highlight of the concert will be national premieres of "Soul Ascending\
 ," and "Lumen de Lumine" by Constantine Caravassilis\, a composer born i
 n Pikoula's homeland of Greece who is now composing in Toronto. An artis
 t's reception will follow the concert.\nPikoula received her Doctor of M
 usical Arts degree in Piano Performance from Boston University where she
  studied with the legendary pianist and teacher Anthony di Bonaventura.&
 nbsp\; Pikoula has won many honors and awards in international and natio
