Winter Storm Bearing Down On Arlington

Snowfall to be followed by arctic cold front.

Arlington residents are gearing up for the latest blast from old man winter.

A 1-2 punch is expect to roll across the region in the next couple of days, with a snowfall to be followed by a blast of frosty temperatures.

According to the National Weather Service, a storm front will dump a possible 3 to 5 inches Monday night on Arlington. Temperatures will drop into the teens with light, variable winds.

The snow will continue into Tuesday morning, with another 1 to 2 inches of accumulation possible, ending around noon.

As the snow leaves, the cold front will move in. Temperatures Tuesday night are expected to drop to 6 degrees with a wind chill of -6. Winds will be from 9-15 mph.

On Wednesday, things won't get much warmer, with a high of 17 degrees with wind gusts up to 30 mph and wind chill values as low as -8. You'll need to bundle up again Wednesday night, as temperatures to drop to a low around 4.

Is there any way of canceling this snow storm. Where can I walk my dog? Where will he mess? What will happen if my plastic poop bags get blown away? How will I maneuver my dog in the snow? My dog wont like this. What should I tell him? He will be very upset with me when he finds out. Advice please, people.

Thanks Tim, but my basement is already loaded with dog dung. My dog is very, very angry at me. I have been so upset and he is upset that I can not take him on front yards to mess. My home smells like ammonia. Can't wait for summer to roam around all the neighborhoods so he can poop. And Mr. Bill Bailey, dont be so silly with Tim.
