When Is the New Last Day of School?
As it stands now, when will Arlington’s public school students start summer vacation?
The new last day of school for Arlington’s public school students is now Thursday, June 27 – yes, just one week before the Fourth of July.
Arlington used two snow days for the recent blizzard and missed two more days during Hurricane Sandy.
The district now has one scheduled snow day left.
Superintendent Kathleen Bodie said Thursday that she plans to survey employees about possible contingency plans – such as a half day on Good Friday (Friday, Marcy 29) or using a Saturday or April vacation day.
