It would be great to see a place that had cappuccino and desserts and gelato for after dinner or the theatre. With so many restaurants in the area and the Regent Theatre nearby it would be a great place to continue the conversation // just like the North End.

I would like to see a good chocolate shop like the ones you see near Newbury Street in Boston.

I think a burger king or a 5 men burger place, with AC right there be a good draw,

A deli and convenience store that also sells fresh fruit and vegetables. There are many successful ones in NY City. Freshly made sandwiches, soft drinks, milk, canned goods etc.

A Pho shop. They don't have to - I'd prefer it if they didn't - do anything else.

Just good, cheap pho.

A bar would be great there, you could get a drink or two after a show.

I think a froyo shop would be very popular or a small cafe that sells crepes and has wifi, something not found in Arlington.

How about a trendy, overpriced cupcake store? Maybe KickAss could open a branch there.

A place which serves simple, affordable fare: breakfast, lunch and snacks. Remember The Tasty in Cambridge?

Locally owned Burrito shop (not chipotle)

I think a burrito shop would do well. Maybe the Mexican restaurant across the street could open it. The prices would have to be reasonable. A lot of students would buy their burritos. I am getting hungry.

There are a lot of families with children in Arlington. But not many places to play or hang out when the weather gets cold. How about some sort of indoor play scape with jumping balloon tents and indoor slides? Maybe even some games for grown-ups like skee ball and video games? Since there are no places like Chuck E. cheese or other family-friendly or game focus places closeby, it would create great revenue for the city were at city owned or supported. Coin operated Video Games are not allowed in A-Town..... City owned you open a can of worms with a liability with an indoor play place... I would love to see a place like that in Arlington But you will never see it here...

While we are waiting for something, why not let an artist exhibit some work in the window. If the landlord is reading and willing, please leave your contact info and someone from Arlington Public Art will get in touch with you.

I second the crepe cafe idea. Authentic French crepes both savory and sweet with fresh ingredients, and with fresh sides like mixed green salads. Also good coffee drinks to accompany it.
