What Arlington Roads Will Soon be Repaved?

The town recently released its list of roads that will be repaved this spring, summer or fall.

The roads were selected via the most recent pavement condition survey and criteria from the town’s Pavement Management System, according to the town. The roads will be repaved by the town’s paving contractor, D&R Paving, in conjunction with the Department of Public Works.

Here’s the list, with estimated start times (subject to change due to weather or scheduling changes):

• Highland Avenue (Gray Street to Eastern Avenue), Spring 2013
• Park Avenue Extension (Summer Street to Forest Street), Spring 2013
• Mass. Ave. (Lexington line to MBTA bus barn), Spring 2013 (state date tentative)
• Academy Street (Maple Street to Irving Street), Spring/Summer 2013
• Appleton Street (Park Avenue to Acton Street), Summer 2013
• Mass. Ave. (Schouler Court to Mill Street), Summer 2013
• Radcliff Road, Summer 2013
• Beck and Ryder streets (repair at town property), Summer 2013
• Minuteman Bikeway (various locations), Summer 2013
• Upland Road (Repair), Summer/Fall 2013
• Brantwood Road, Summer/Fall 2013
• Kensington Road, Summer/Fall 2013
• Jason Street (Spring Street to Brantwood Road), Summer/Fall 2013

If your road is on the list, flyers will be distributed to notify you prior to work commencing, according to the town. There will be some on-street parking restrictions in these areas.
