Volunteers Make Arlington Entrance More Beautiful on Earth Day

A group of local teens and adults took some time Friday to plant Pansies and clean up the intersection of Medford Street and Mystic Valley Parkway.

Spring has finally sprung, and in Arlington, a group of volunteers made it their Friday goal to beautify the entrance to town.

The group was made up of family and friends of , a Malden-based provider of residential and commercial landscaping services. On Friday, their project was strictly volunteer.

The volunteers planted purple medley and pure yellow Pansies, mowed the lawn and cleaned up the place in general. And they left with a promise: to maintain the rotary until winter rolls in.
