Taxi-Cab Licenses on Selectmen's Agenda

Five renewals and four new licenses are on tonight's agenda.

 

Today is Monday, Sept. 10. Here are five things you need to know:

1. Today should be partly sunny with a high near 71, according to the National Weather Service.

2. The Board of Selectmen will discuss “Hackney Licenses” – that’s taxi-cab licenses for those not in the know – at its meeting at 7:15 p.m. tonight in the Selectmen’s Chambers on the second floor of Town HallSee agenda.

3. The Redevelopment Board will meet at 7 p.m. tonight in the Town Hall Annex’ second-floor conference room. The board’s agendalists the item, “Symmes update, including approval of colors.” The Arlington Cultural Council will meet at 7 p.m. tonight in Robbins Library’s fourth-floor conference room. The council is going to be talking about Town Day, among other agenda items. The Vision 2020 Diversity Task Group will meet at 7:30 p.m. tonight in the Jefferson Cutter House’s lower level.
