Sustainable Landscaping Presentation Tonight
The event, part of the Stormwater Awareness Series, starts at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
Today is Tuesday, Dec. 11. Here are five things you need to know:
1.) From the town: Sustainable Landscaping Presentation Tonight: The Arlington Engineering Division is hosting a public Stormwater Awareness Series designed to educate residents and businesses on stormwater and the environment. Stormwater professionals will make presentations, followed by question and answer sessions, for the purpose of increasing awareness of these impacts and to provide information on how to reduce them.
The fifth presentation, “Sustainable Landscaping,” will be presented by Michael Murray of Organic Soil Solutions and Christine Scypinski of Waterfiled Design Group.
This session will be held from 7-8 p.m. tonight in the Selectmen’s Hearing Room, Arlington Town Hall, 2nd floor.

2.) Three mystery authors, Edith Maxwell, Michele McPhee and Steve Ulfelder, are speaking at the Robbins Library at 7 p.m. tonight at “It’s a Mystery to Me.” The authors will be speaking about the writing process, creating characters, doing research and developing a daily writing schedule. 5.) After a rainy morning, it’s expected to gradually get sunny today, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures should hit the high 40s.
