Seasonal Flu/Pneumonia Vaccination Clinic Thursday

The clinic is from 1-3 p.m. at the Arlington Senior Center.

 

Today is Wednesday, Jan. 2. Here are five things you need to know:

1.) From the town: The Arlington Health Department has added a seasonal flu and pneumonia vaccination clinic to be held on Thursday, Jan. 3, from 1-3 p.m., at the Arlington Senior Center, 27 Maple St. Read more.

2.) From the town: There will be a one-day delay for trash and recycling collections for the remainder of this week due to the New Year’s holiday. The Friday pickup will be delayed until Saturday. For missed pickups, call JRM directly at 1-800-323-4285.

3.) When to watch the Quanrantid Meteor Shower this week.

4.) Add your 2013 events to the Arlington Patch Events Calendar.

5.) It’s not expected to get above 29 degrees today, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight’s overnight low is 7.
