Schools Release Third Redistricting Map
New map shows where things stand as officials continue to redistrict the town's elementary schools. What are your thoughts on the new version of the map?
Arlington Public Schools have released the third redistricting map, part of an ongoing process to alleviate overcrowding at some elementary schools.
On Tuesday, the Redistricting Committee and dozens of parents met up at Arlington High School to talk about the next steps in creating new boundaries for the town's elementary schools.
Several parents once again said remaining in already-formed school communities are a priority for their families. In December, parents said safe walking routes were also a major concern, a point that was reiterated on Tuesday.
The Redistricting Committee will next meet on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 7-9p.m., at Arlington High School's sixth floor.
What are your thoughts on redistricting so far? Have schools officials listened to your concerns? Please leave your comments in the box below.

Shouldn't the map be in color so we can see the different districts?

Jennifer: I tried my best to get a copy of the map in color but haven't had access to one. Dr. Bodie said she'd send us a color copy soon. I'll update as soon as possible.
In the meantime, try zooming in. In most cases, you can tell where the boundaries are by the different shading.
