Barbara Benes, an 82-year-old Arlington woman, drowned off Cape Cod, according to Boston.com.

Benes was pulled from the water near Indian Neck Beach in Wellfleet at about 7 p.m. Thursday, June 21, the report states. She was then transported by emergency personnel to Cape Cod Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police believe Benes was out for a swim and said that her death does not appear to be suspicious, according to the report.
