Power Outage Near Arlington Center

Power should be fully restored with generators sometime between 1 and 2 a.m. this morning, according to an NSTAR spokeswoman.

With temperatures in the mid teens Saturday night, roughly 150 Arlington homes lost power shortly before 11 p.m. because of a faulty cable, according to NSTAR spokeswoman Mary Ellen Molloy.

As of 11:50 p.m., 28 of those homes, on Jason, Central and Court streets, were still without power. Molloy said NSTAR should have power fully restored to the area with generators sometime between 1 and 2 a.m. this morning.

This is in addition to the blackout along Mass Ave west of the center earlier in the night?
