Political Sign Burned on Charles Street

Incidents and arrests in Arlington from Friday to Monday, Oct. 19-22.

Political Sign Burned on Charles Street

A Charles Street resident reported at 3:56 p.m. Friday that someone had burned the political sign on her front lawn the previous night.

 

Wallet Allegedly Stolen, Used at Ned Devine’s

A man reported at 1:33 p.m. Sunday that his wallet had been stolen from the American Legion Post 39 the previous night.

The man said he was at a Halloween party there Saturday night and was wearing a costume that didn’t have any pockets, so he left his wallet and car keys in a basket on a counter.

Later that night, someone used his credit card at the bar Ned Devine’s in Boston’s Faneuil Hall and tried to use it at gas stations in Charlestown and Chelsea as well.

Window Damaged at Fitness First

Police responded to Fitness First at 12:39 p.m. Sunday to investigate a report of property damage.

At the scene, an employee told police that one of the gym’s front windows had been damaged the previous night. It was estimated that the window would cost about $1,000 to replace.

Head Injury in Adult Soccer Game

An adult soccer player got a knee to the head at 9:22 a.m. Sunday in a game at Spy Pond Field. He was taken to a hospital by ambulance with a head injury, according to police.
