Package Thieves Reported in Arlington Heights

Incidents and arrests in Arlington from Monday to Tuesday, Feb. 25-26.

The following information comes from the Arlington Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Package Thieves Reported in Arlington Heights

A man and a woman in a green pickup truck allegedly stole two packages from outside a George Street residence Monday afternoon and then one more outside of a home on Menotomy Road.

The suspects had “many packages” in the back of their truck, according to witnesses.

Police first responded to the George Street residence at about 4:44 p.m. There, a man told police that the female suspect got out of the truck  and took the packages, while the male stayed in the driver’s seat.

The same thing occurred on Menotomy Road about 30 minutes later, according to that resident.
