Oh no! GOP is not racist! What would EVER make you think that? Just everything that dribbles out of their primitive racist mouths. You think you are diminishing her, but you are shrinking yourselves into pitiable human beings. The Cherokee and all the rest of the Native Americans are not shocked by the GOP prejudice; They expect it.

This is not a knock on the Cherokee Nation...just the opposite. The Cherokee Nation deserves to be represented by true members.....not self serving politicians who use a fractional blood lineage as a means of ascending the political (or professional) ladder.

You keep repeating that her heritage is not true! Again, I ask, WHERE ARE YOUR FACTS? My sister-in-law is from Oklahoma and is 1/8 Cherokee. She has justly received scholarship money per DIA policy. What made you think that is somehow wrong? Warren never asked for financial support nor got any preferential treatment because of her "Fractional blood lineage," though she was entitled to it. I would think that would accrue to her benefit. But the Brown supporters have manufactured a thinly-veiled propaganda theme that they have to live with and is now placed around his neck. If you have a lack of integrity, there is no point in discussing this. If you are a person of integrity, let's talk more. BTW, I'm (I), not (D).

As to "Not a knock on the Cherokee Nation", what is "How kimosabe" and "Uprising" and "Gen Custer" about. Sounds like typical GOP tin ears to me.

It is not up to the general public to prove that Ms. Warren is part Cherokee - - it is up to her and she never has. She is making a mockery of the Cherokee Nation, which deserves better representation than Ms. Warren.

It is a pleasure to see liberals agonize over real or perceived flaws in their senatorial candidate. It is also rewarding to see Harvard University squirm over listing a professor as its first Native American woman when she is at least 31/32's white if not 32/32's. We can only wonder what real Indian she may have deprived of the job.

Well Rev, I see you are like most Right Wing preachers; You couldn't care less about what is true or false because the end justifies the means. Which verse is it that encourages baseless rumor-mongering? It surely conflicts with one of the commandments about...about...Oh yes. Bearing false witness.

Thanks, Rev, Be happy to. 1) What evidence is there Harvard "Squirmed?" 2) Since the Cherokee was her great grandfather, or so she was told, that males her 1/8 Cherokee which entitles her to educational benefits that she never took advantage of, including preferred acceptance and scholarships. 3) There is no evidence she was given any preference in hiring. I have heard the same rumors as you, but the Brown-favoring Herald debunked them all. As you know, false rumors can be poisonous, which of course was the intent from the ones who started them. Cordially,

Excellent spin Bruce. No matter what the 'facts', Elizabeth Warren and Harvard University have both suffered in reputation as a result of these developments (read squirm). Most everyone would agree that an affirmative action preference by Harvard for Warren would be unseemly.
Good luck in November... how 'bout that Wisconsin recall vote!
