Have You Seen Snappy?

Lost dog might be in Arlington, according to its owner.

Snappy, a 4-year-old female Weimaraner, ran away last Thursday at the Burlington reservoir and might be traveling through Arlington on her way back home to Cambridge, according to her owner.

Snappy’s scent was recently picked up in Arlington, after a possible spotting on the Minuteman bike path in Lexington, her owner, Ali Burke, said.

Snappy’s easily frightened, so don’t give chase, Burke said. If you spot Snappy, call 617-256-8772.

I did see this kind of a dog on a lease with a woman on Sutherland Road in Arlington heights. I did say something to her about a missing Weimaraner but she didn't say anything.

Thank you so much for leaving this comment. We would really like to follow up to see if this could be our missing dog. Could you please call my cell at 321-795-9965. If that isn't possible could you tell us what time you saw her at? And a more specific location? Any additional information might be the key to bringing her home. Thanks again for taking the time to help!

I looked for Snappy for 4 hrs today. Searched Burlington Reservoir, several power line trails, Winn St. and more. My Husband and I have two Weimeraners ourselves and understand the unique and deep connection we Weimeraner owners all share with this unique and beautiful breed. I will continue looking for Snappy when I'm in the Burlington area. Please post any recent sightings so those searching for her can adjust our search locations accordingly. Best Wishes, Anne. Praying for you, and for Snappy's safe return! I feel she's still out there...
