Five Things You Need to Know Today, Nov. 28

Last few days to return overdue books and pay no fee, volunteering in town and a few more things to know this Monday.

1. Weather: Expect some clouds throughout the day and during the evening. High temperatures could reach 62 degrees with an overnight low of 49.

2. In case you missed it: Catch on a week's worth of news with our week in review, a Sunday feature rounding up the essential happenings that matter to people in Arlington.

3. Volunteering: Have you heard about Will Sherman? This 17-year-old Eagle scout has been working hard to create an online spot to connect volunteers with local nonprofits seeking help. Find out all about it here.

4. Senior cribbage: Every Monday, the Retired Men's Club of Arlington sponsors cribbage at St. Camillus Parish. Cost is $5.

5. Libraries forgive debt in November: The month is almost over but you still have time to look around the house for all those books you forgot to return to the library. This month only, Robbins and Fox libraries are vowing to forgive fines charged for any overdue materials, no matter when they were due. Hurry up and don't miss out!
