Escape Winter Woes With Sedona Sun

Treat yourself to an hour or two at the spa.

You work hard. Now it's time to take a break and enjoy yourself, Mom. It’s your time. Take it.

Each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier.

Escape Winter with Sedona Sun

No one needs a little tender loving care this time of year more than the person who has zipped that snow suit several times a day, wiped that runny nose non-stop, wrestled those feet into their boots and guided tiny fingers into gloves morning and afternoon, day after day.

That's you, Mom.

Add into that several days of shoveling and negotiating icy sidewalks with strollers and toddlers and a day at the spa becomes more of a necessity than a luxury.

If the shoveling has your back aching and you just can't shake the chill in the air, then you may want to consider the hot stone massage.  If you've been lucky enough to skip the shoveling and you just really need time to lie down, relax and rehydrate then a facial could be the perfect solution at a smaller price than a massage.

Sedona Sun Day Spa is offering free custom blend additions to Bioelements moisturizer purchases, which saves you $10 through Feb. 26.

Treat your complexion and muscles to a little winter escape and give yourself the gift of an uninterrupted hour or two in the Sedona sun.

Can't make it to the spa?
If you can't get to the spa while the kids are at school there are some other creative options.  Children eight and up can have some down time of their own at ArtBeat's Pizza and Art night.  To save even more, arrange to do a childcare swap.  Drop the kids off at a friend's house to play while you enjoy your spa time.  The next day or week send your friend out for some solo time while you watch the kids.
