Fall back to standard time on Sunday, Nov. 4. As you turn back your clocks one hour, the Arlington Fire Department urges residents to inspect their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and replace their batteries. This simple maintenance procedure insures your family will be quickly alerted in the event of an emergency in your home. If the detectors are broken, replace them immediately.
