Newspapers Strewn About in Front of Johnnie’s
Police responded to Johnnie’s Foodmaster at about 12:05 a.m. Sunday for a report of a group of kids causing damage to some newspaper stands on Massachusetts Avenue. The reporting party said three males were involved.
Police then stopped three young males in the nearby TD Bank parking lot and asked them about the incident. The youths denied any involvement.
Police said the newspaper stands were not damaged, but newspapers had been strewn about the sidewalk. Since there was no damage to the stands, police just had the youths call their parents for a ride home.
