December Unemployment Rate Drops in Arlington

Data comes from the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development.

 

The town of Arlington saw a slight drop in its unemployment rate in the month of December, according to numbers released this week.

The state Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development released its local unemployment numbers and

The unemployment rates for area towns follow:

  •  Belmont’s unemployment fell slightly, from 4.3 percent in November to 4.1 percent in December. Last December's rate was 5.1 percent.
  •  Lexington saw its rate hold steady at 4.0 percent in November and December. Last year's rate was 5.2 percent.
