The following information comes from the Arlington Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Break-In at the Savory Plate

The Savory Plate was allegedly broken into over Wednesday night.

Police were called to the Arlington Heights eatery at about 11 a.m. Thursday for a report of a past break-in. There, one of the Savory Plate’s owners told police that someone had entered his business through the back door and taken roughly $200 from a box in his office.

The owner said a bottle of cough medicine was also moved and it appeared that the perpetrator consumed the bottle during the break-in.
