Best Of Patch: Place to Get a Yummy Sandwich

Take our poll and help us find the best sandwich spot in Arlington.

Welcome to Best Of Patch, our new weekly feature where local businesses compete for a communal nod of approval from the Arlington community.

This week, we're seeking a winner in the Best Sandwich category. What shop in town has the best BLT? Whose croissants are the butteriest? What's the delicious, wrapped goodness that keeps you from focusing on work when lunch time nears?

We know you have an opinion. So please vote and let us know!

Here are some of our favorite places, but if we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it:

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, positive comments on this article and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

D'Agostino's Deli is the best. It is not on there. Daggs Deli is on there and is apt to be confused because D'Agostino's is the original Dags (with one G). D'Agostinos is in the Heights.

Francesca's in east Arlington can't be beat for fresh, handmade, and panini's! Make sure they are an option.

Madrona Tree in the center is amazing and not on your list. They use local produce and meat. Great veggie options and I've been told the meat burgers are amazing.

Yes, I agree about Madrona Tree. They have the greatest sandwiches and a wonderful feel about them. Very homey.

Madrona Tree should definitely be on there, I agree. Also, thanks for adding Villa Pizza and D'Agg's, two awesome family businesses in my neighborhood. I heard, too, that the new Savory Plate in the Heights has amazing sandwiches but, so far, I've only had their soups, main courses and side dishes (all delicious!!)

And, yes, I meant "D'Ags" not "Daggs"..I meant D'Agostino's in the Heights.
Thanks, Ann, for pointing out the distinction.
