Arlington Schools Off Today for Yom Kippur

Today is Wednesday, Sept. 26. Here are five things you need to know.

 

1. There is no school today in Arlington’s public schools due to the Yom Kippur holiday.

2. There is a free first time home buyer seminar in town today. The seminar is at 7 p.m. at the Bowes Real Estate Office, 1010 Massachusetts Ave. Complete details.

3. Gov. Deval Patrick will be holding a live chat with Patch readers from 1:30-2:15 p.m. Thursday. Submit a question now.

4. The Arlington Farmers’ Market runs from 2-6:30 p.m. today in the Russell Common parking lot in Arlington Center.

5. There is a chance of showers today, with thunderstorms also possible after 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
