Clearly this is a sad situation for everyone involved, three kids lost their Mom, the downstairs neighbors saw something very horrific that I will assume they will never forget, this local kid has ruined his life, I feel sorry for his family. It's very tragic that this even happened.

Dear "Soured": You are correct about the timing of the first story. I linked to source you cite. I learned about this report about a week before I reported it. I didn't report it until I confirmed it with N.H. authorities. Perhaps the Patch editor went through a similar process, but using "according to reports" as attribution does not indicate that. Let me report: I am not complaining about Patch; only asking a question. If the editor wants to ban me, that is up to him, not the anonymous posters.

I did not reveal the name of Jeff Thielman in the 2007 Bouris-Coughlin story because he was an anonymous source. I will stick by the practice. Two months after the story broke, he then identified himself.
The map Cindy gave me was no different than the map provided to a whole roomful people at a subcommittee meeting days before Cindy gave it to me. My own recollection is that Pedro received the map at the same subcommittee I did.

"Soured": Are you talking about the regular School Committee meeting or the subcommittee that preceded a few days before? Cindy gave me a color copy of the map before the regular committee meeting. Back-and-white copies of this map were handed out at the subcommittee meeting. Before making accusations, make sure you have your facts.
In addition, the news-release policy you cite was put in place *after* the map incident -- for which I have publicly apologized -- and long after the 2007 Thielman case.

This "prostitute" was my sister you should all have a little respect for the dead. Listen when push comes to shove, this kid is a murderer. I have no sympathy for this young man what so ever. He was only 2 years behind me in High School and during those years, he was known for home invasions and other acts of crime. If you look up his name on google then you will find all of the other felonies he has committed on top of this most recent tragedy. I can't stand people sticking up for this kid. He is a murderer and he will be labeled that for the rest of his life. So people need to stop looking for excuses to make him look innocent and look at the big picture, a life was lost because of this terrible young man.

I personally grew up with Alexis. She was an amazingly sweet and caring girl who honestly got mixed up with the wrong crowd. All the articles written about her are heart breaking due to the fact that she is refered to as a prostitute, a hooker and such. Yes, I understand she made her own decisions but there is not a single person alive who deserves what happened to her. I weep not for his family as some of you have stated, but for hers. Her 3 children, her father, her step mother, and her 2 brothers and younger sister. God have mercy on her soul and guide her children to a path above where there mother had fallen.

He should get off for self defense - i find it very believable that someone who would sell their body for drugs would also attack someone for drugs. Everyone wants to talk about how many times he's been arrested - check out how many times she's been arrested. Maybe he could overpower her person to person but she had a knife - and I'm sure he knew she was willing to do anything for drugs given her occupation.

Self defense is one thing... What he did was not self defense that was murder.

I knew Alexis, she was a sweet caring young lady. She had hopes and dreams of changing her life. She did not deserve this. May God be with her and her family . Michael Balek
