Arlington Man Arrested After Search Yields 2 Pounds of Marijuana
The Burlington Police Department found the narcotics, worth roughly $6,000 on the streets, following a motor vehicle stop on in Burlington.
Burlington Police on Wednesday said officers seized roughly 2 pounds of marijuana from an Arlington man.
Police arrested Brian Bonaccolto, 25, and charged him with possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute. The majijuana confiscated weighed more than 2 pounds and had an estimated street value of $6,000. The suspect was held for court on $2,000 cash bail.
According to Burlington Police, Officer David Outerbridge conducted a car stop at 12:50 a.m. on Tuesday in the area of Marshall Simonds Middle School and the Memorial Elementary School, both in Burlington.
During the search, Outerbridge became suspicious and began a search and investigation of the vehicle and its occupants. Police found what they classified as a large quantity of marijuana along with Nobaccolto and a 24-year-old Burlington male.
Burlington Police K-9 Havoc was summoned to the scene to conduct a further search of the vehicle, police said. That search revealed no further drugs inside the vehicle.
