Another Town Restaurant to Offer Beer and Wine

Selectmen approved a beer and wine license for Sabzi restaurant at Monday night's meeting.

New Arlington restaurant Sabzi is set to serve alcohol after the approved a beer and wine license for the new Mass Ave eatery at Monday night’s meeting.

Sabzi will take over 352A Mass Ave., the spot formerly occupied by  The restaurant and cafe due to financial constraints. Mehran Khosrowdad has yet to determine a grand opening date.

Khosrowdad, an eight-year Arlington resident and ten-year restaurateur, hopes to “add to the diversity that Arlington has to offer” with his new venture.

Depending on what happens at this spring’s Town Meeting, Arlington could receive an . A warrant article for Town Meeting proposes adding licenses for two more liquor stores in Arlington. Town Meeting members will debate the warrant starting on April 25.
