In this week’s Best of Patch Readers’ Choice contest, two local barber shops stood out from the field.

Heights Barber Shop finished atop this week’s poll with a whopping 142 votes (40 percent), while Susan's Barber Shop, which got an impressive 78 votes (22 percent) to place second in the poll, received nine perfect, five-star reviews.

In the end, with both votes and reviews being considered, it was too close to call, making Heights and Susan’s co-winners in our most recent Best of Patch Readers’ Choice contest, for best hair salon/barber shop in town.

Here’s how the rest of the field stacked up (only hair salons/barber shops that received multiple votes), as you can see the Hair Cuttery, J.R. Burke Salon and Anthony's Barber Styling also got lots of love from our readers.
