New Fencing Club Open House

Olympia Fencing Center, the new state-of-the-art competitive fencing club catering to children and adults who want to learn the sport of encing, has opened in the Alewife section of Cambridge.

Olympia Fencing Center has an ample parking lot, 15 strips, access to lockers and armory, state of the art equipment, a private lounge for the parents and visitors with a snack/coffee bar, TV and free wifi.

"We want our members and their families to feel comfortable and think about our club like to their second home. The children will grow up in here – right under
our eyes, we are not only offering them a place to train, but a place to study for school, build friendships, connect with fellow fencers inside and outside the club, learn respect and recognition."

During the month of January, Sunday the 13th and the 27th, Olympia Fencing Club will be holding two Open House events.

Our doors will be open from 10:00 Am to Noon, with snacks, refreshments and demonstrations. Anyone interested in the sport will be welcome to attend a free introductory class. Fair warning - don’t be surprised if you
become addicted!

What the article doesn't tell you is that the Head Coach is one of the foremost coaches in the U.S.. I am so glad to see him open his own club!

Fencing is an awesome sport. We had 3 kids to try it, and two of them cannot imagine their life without fencing now.
