Fashion at the Fox Continues to Seek Clothing Donations
The fifth and final donation drop-off night for this fall’s Fashion at the Fox fundraiser is scheduled for Wednesday, October 26, from 4-8pm, in the lower level of the Fox Library, 175 Massachusetts Ave.
Fashion at the Fox, a semi-annual two-day sale of gently-used contemporary and vintage women’s clothing, raises much-needed funds for the Fox Library and other local causes.
Persons who would like to donate items for this sale but who cannot make it to the Fox on the 26th can contact the sale organizers to make an appointment for another time. Organizers can also arrange to have donations picked up.
The sale will take place on Friday, November 11, 5-9pm, and Saturday, November 12, 1-6pm, in the lower level of the Fox, and will feature current fashions in like-new condition, including clothing, shoes, jewelry, handbags, scarves, hats, gloves, and belts; vintage clothing and accessories (1970’s and earlier); and an eclectic selection of house wares.
Proceeds from this sale will be donated to the Fox and to the Town of Arlington’s Trees Please Fund, an account designated specifically for the purchase of Town trees and funded in part by donations from the public. For more information about the fund, visit www.arlingtontrees.org.
