East Cambridge Savings Bank Donates to Cradles to Crayons’ “Gear Up for Winter”
CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS --- On December 21st, East Cambridge Savings Bank donated over a dozen large bags filled with winter clothing items and other essentials to Cradles to Crayons, a local non-profit organization dedicated to helping children in poverty.
The Bank is partnered with Cradles to Crayons as part of their “Gear Up for Winter” initiative. All are encouraged to drop off their new and gently used clothing items at any East Cambridge Savings Bank office location.
President and Chief Executive Officer, Gilda M. Nogueira expressed her enthusiasm for the outpouring of donations by saying, “East Cambridge Savings Bank is proud to support Cradles to Crayons. This is a wonderful non-profit organization that provides essential items to children in need. We successfully collected a tremendous amount of donated items through the generosity of our employees and customers.”
Additionally, in the spirit of spreading the warmth through the coldest months, East Cambridge Savings Bank is offering an article of warm apparel with the opening of any checking account that can be kept or donated.
